Dickenson Bay
Located on the Northwest Corner of Antigua, Dickenson Bay is a great escape from whatever you are trying to thaw out.
Lots of beach bars and support from the local resorts create a safe and welcoming atmosphere.
Definitely a Local and tourist favorite. Probably one of the busiest beaches in our list.
Fort James Beach
Just a touch south of Dickenson Bay but before you get to the city of St. John’s you’ll find St. James Beach. This is more of a local secret as it is out of the way down some dirt roads.
Hermitage Beach – Antigua
All of the beaches are open to the public. Hermitage Beach which is South of St. John’s but just North of Jolly Harbour is just outside of a very exclusive resort. Great atmosphere that just oozes luxury.
Jolly Beach – Antigua
Looking to party your afternoon away or work off the hangover from the night before on a lounge chair? Jolly Beach is your spot!
Located just outside the Jolly Harbour Resort. Close parking for your rental car – very easy to find!
Dark Wood Beach
A little bit of both worlds… You get the quiet solitude of a less visited beach combined with a funky beach bar that isn’t as frequented as the other beaches. Great place to just escape and relax.
Turner’s Beach in Crab Hill
Competing Beach Bars / Restaurants divided with a quiet stretch of perfect Caribbean beach to find some solitude. Can’t find the right vibe in one bar? Simply stroll down to the other which is a near opposite in design.
Half Moon Bay – Antigua
Locals love this one as you have the “Rough” on the left for surfing and the quiet on the right for chilling.
Pigeon Beach – Antigua
Everybody has to have a favorite and this one is likely ours… Found just around the corner from the marinas in Falmouth Harbour you’ll find this quiet beach. Wonderful spot for relaxing without any pretension. You’ll love!
