How to Get to the Bahamas

Airports and airlines: Lynden Pindling International Airport (NAS) Nassau; Served by Air Canada, American Airlines, Bahamas Air, British Airways, Copa, Delta, Jet Blue, Southwest Airlines, US Airways.

Cruise ports: Carnival, Disney, Norwegian, and Royal Caribbean, all go into Prince George Dock, Nassau and many have their own private resorts in the Bahamas, such as Coco Cay and Half Moon Cay.

Yachting: The best services are around Nassau, but there are entry ports at the following: Spanish Cay, Treasure Cay, Great Abaco, Green Turtle Cay (Abacos); Congo Town, Fresh Creek, Morgans Bluff (Andros); Alice Town, Cat Cay, South Bimini (Bimini); Cat Island; Cape Eleuthera, Governors Harbour, Harbour Island (Eleuthera); George Town (Exuma); Freeport, Port Lucaya, West End (Grand Bahama); Nassau (New Providence).

Ferries: Bahamas Ferries runs a regular service between Nassau and the Out Islands. Balearia Ferries runs a daily service from Miami and Fort Lauderdale to Bimini and Grand Bahama.
