Where to Go
Where to Go in St. Vincent and the Grenadines
St. Vincent, the main island, retains an undiscovered feel, not least because the roads around the mountains are winding and hardly conducive to big tourist traffic. Hike La Soufriere, the volcanic peak, or stay down in the capital Kingstown, and tour the Botanical Gardens, which are beautiful. Most visitors catch the ferry from Kingstown dock and head down to the Grenadines. Bequia is easy to get to, with some superb beaches and an easy, elegant charm.
