Overview
The landmark hotel is La Samanna in the Lowlands, just over the border from the Dutch side, an elegant resort which hosts the occasional celebrity. The new Riu Palace at Anse Marcel, previously a Radisson, finally looks to have got this quiet cove right and should add a shot of much-needed quality to the French side. Otherwise, some pretty guest houses in Grand Case and beachside resorts on Orient Bay.
